Dr. Ahmed Florian Luetzen
Born near Heidelberg, Germany in 1982, he earned his PhD from the University of Hamburg with a dissertation on the concept of religion in the works of the Moroccan scholar Aḥmad Ibn ʿAjība. His academic journey included studies in Islamic theology in Sudan, Germany, and Egypt. He has published several books and articles in both English and German.
Regarding the traditional Islamic sciences (ʿulūm al-dīn) and direct study with scholars, he trained under learned authorities from various countries and was granted ijazas (traditional licenses) in all the major disciplines. His primary fields of specialization are Aqida (Islamic creed), Sufism and ethics.
